New Teaching Tools?

I was just serving on the internet( yes, I love doing that when my children are out with daddy!!) and I found this new (to me) tool that seems very interesting.

http://prezi.com

I am still trying to figure out how it works and how to use it in the classroom. Any ideas?

Do you know any other tool I could use? Thank you.

    Hi Chiara,

I think there are a lot of great learning tools out there! I have never used Prezi before but have seen it being used. Maybe we can work on this together when we are back at school?

Spicynodes.com is something I am using during this unit. I have started using it with one student, and will let them explore it all when we get back. Great concept mapping tool.

The one thing I think we should do as soon as possible is BLOGGING! I guess we need to stick to studywiz, but we should be doing it ALL THE TIME. Maybe something else to look at as we get back!

    Have a nice Sunday!

  2. Hi there! There are so many great tools out there including Animoto, Wallwisher and definitely blogging. I used Prezi to do my first day of school presentation http://prezi.com/7ro9jeaac5hu/welcome-to-your-adventure/

do check out my blogposts. I keep using tools and displaying them for whoever is interested.
Prezis are great. I love glogster and have recently used weebly very well as a summative assesment.

      Hi!
Thanks for your reply. Could you give me an example of how you have used glogster within your classroom? Could you print/save your work then offline?
      Thank for your contribution

    Hi Chiara,
Have you checked out every1speaks? It’s for teh promotion of student voice in school but can be used as part of T&L, homework, enquiry based learning and basically whatever way you like… it’s nice to look at and the pupils seem to like it.

  5. Hi Chiara,
You might also like to look into VoiceThread which is very easy to use. I have used it with classes from Kindergarten to Grade 5.
